CoWork Bozeman is a collaborative, open office space and close-knit community of entrepreneurs and remote workers in the heart of downtown Bozeman. We’ve got a beautiful space, a supportive community, and big plans. We are looking for a Space and Community Manager (also known as the Space Captain) to keep the space up and running, serve as our members’ point person for inquiries and feedback, and run community events.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Our Space and Community Manager is the primary point-of-contact for our members and serves as the on-the-ground face of CoWork Bozeman. This is a full-time position for a flexible and ambitious individual with a passion for cultivating a community of entrepreneurs and work-from-home professionals. Responsibilities include anything from shaping big picture, to outlining tasks, to the nitty gritty of running an event. Because we are a dynamic and growing community, it is essential the Space Captain understands feedback from our members and appropriately communicates this with the owner when needed.
Cultivation of community via demonstrated enthusiasm and optimism
Self-starting quick learner
Great communicator with supervisor, coworkers, and clients in a variety of mediums
Flexibility in role depending on needs; willingness to always pitch in
Responsible and quick problem-solver on the spot
Positive, entrepreneurial attitude
Monitor and maintain physical space, including early arrival, cleaning, and other general tasks
Field regular member questions, provide tours, and be a friendly face for any and all visitors to the space
Develop, plan, coordinate, and run member events
Manage membership process, including online software and onboarding of new members
Scheduling and nailing down the details for events, marketing, and general space management
Experience in customer service, sales, and hospitality
Interest in business, particularly in start-up and small enterprises
Energetic, outgoing, positive attitude
Ability to work with people in a social working environment
Attention to detail, top organizational and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and keep deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Independent work ethic
This is a full-time, paid position with an hourly rate of $12/hr. Opportunities for advancement are possible as the community grows
